I completely remember doing this as a child. Although my parents presented a united front, I definitely worked out which one was softer on certain issues. My daughter is still a bit too young for this but no doubt it's only a matter of time!

I don't think mine will ever learn not to play one off against the other. Made all the more difficult here with 3 adults in the house.
